Metro Information

I am slowly putting all the information I have gathered over the years and will post it here as I write it up. So far there is not much here but over time I will keep adding more and hopefully over time I will have a pretty useful database of information here.

Metro idles smooth for 5 seconds then rough for 3seconds, it will just keep cycling like this. Every now and then it will stall. Thanks ,tbucket

I had this problem too. mine would all the sudden act like it was running out of gas sometimes too. I replaced the MAF. this makes sense because if MAF is intermittently bad, it will not sense accurate vac pressure, therefore cutting fuel back. do your homework on this if you buy it new, i found one for $145 at one place, $74 at another. got one at salvage for $5 :)

NO need to replace the MAF sensor! Just clean off the small thin wires with electronics cleaner!!
